Lit Circle Letter #2

Finally, the book is beginning to get good. It's still a bit confusing at times, well... Basically all the time. The book isn't even consistent with it's story telling... One point it's talking about a railroad being rebuilt, and the next paragraph would jump to somewhere in Washington D.C. with a room full of political freaks arguing over how next to screw someone over and make a profit for themselves. (Does anyone else understand a word I just said? Cause I don't.) Same issues as the last letter... I still don't understand half the story and the author doesn't really help you along. It's annoying how inconsistent the story is... Sometimes it dedicates two or three whole chapters to a single event, and then it immediately cuts off in the middle and jumps halfway across the country to a completely irrelevant subject. In some parts I had to double back and reread a whole chapter just to figure out what the hell was going on. I'm sorry to say that I probably read ahead and am WAY ahead of my reading partner, since I'm on page seven hundred something, near the damn end of the book. Since I don't know where my partner is in the book, I won't talk too much about what i know happens in the story, since I don't wanna spoil the book. All I can say is that I've finally grasped a small part of the story, and I gotta say, it's developing into a very interesting and thrilling story line... With a epic plot twist that left me speechless (figure of speech, not really.)
